The 1960s vintage toilet, positioned uncomfortably close to the shower door, had to be flushed three times to fully remove whatever was left in the bowl. The shower was so tiny that I had to stand perpendicular to the shower head to prevent my upper arms from pressing against the shower wall on one side and the glass door on the other. At check-in, the clerk was airily disinterested and smiled only when clarifying for me that breakfast - the only meal available at this property - was served no later than 10 and most certainly NOT complimentary. I suppose its primary value proposition is its proximity to WFU and the coliseum, which might be convenient in hoops season but not so much any other time. The signage said “Courtyard by Marriott,” but it felt like a rebranded Motel 6.
